Professional Educational Wine Seminar

Cost: $50 + tax, per person

This 45-minute presentation, conducted by innkeeper Steve, is a don’t miss event!  Having worked as a wine salesman and educator for 24 years in Raleigh and the surrounding areas, Steve remains passionate on the subject. He earned his CSW (Certified Specialist of Wine) Certification through the Society of Wine Educators in 2015, and he enjoys nothing more than to share his love of wine with our guests.  He will meticulously guide you through 6 wines while educating you on each wine and answering all your questions throughout. Cheese and crackers accompany this presentation. The wine in this seminar is complimentary and you will leave with an understanding of how to plan that next fabulous dinner party once you return home!

Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail Platter for Two

Cost: $25 + tax

This jumbo shrimp cocktail platter is flash boiled by Steve in cajun seasoning. The shrimp are huge with a dozen weighing a pound. Served with homemade cocktail sauce, it is one of our most requested appetizers at the farm.  Let us know if you want to heat up the sauce a notch with hot peppers from the garden.

LBF Spaghetti and Homemade Meatballs

Cost: $25 per person, plus tax

This spaghetti and meatball dish is a family favorite as it is made with Steve’s kicked up marinara sauce.  With lots of garlic and oregano from the garden, these oversized meatballs will melt in your mouth.  Served over linguine “al dente” with fresh grated parmesan cheese, you won’t be disappointed.  Paired with toasted garlic bread and a fresh garden salad, you can’t go wrong with this fun traditional Italian dish.

Cheeseburgers in LBF Paradise

While you are floating around the pool overlooking our pasture and barn, maybe you want a meal on the sundeck.  If so, enjoy our half pound grilled cheeseburger poolside, with all the fixin’s, including delicious French Fries and slaw.  Each burger is served with three different cheeses. Our animals are known to provide quite the entertainment for guests enjoying the sunshine. When booking your reservation, be sure to select this hot off the grill favorite, and yes, it is available all year long.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries & Prosecco

Fresh strawberries are delicious on their own, but these are double hand-dipped in luscious dark chocolate and drizzled with smooth white chocolate for awesome flavor.  Each order contains a half-dozen large, juicy strawberries and just for fun, we will add a bottle of complimentary Prosecco to top off your celebration.

Bananas Foster Flambe
