What makes Lucky Bar Farm a standout B&B is that we also offer optional dinners right here at the farm. If you are looking to park your car for the night and just kick back and settle in, you might consider dining at the farm. When booking your overnight stay, select the add on promotion of “Dinner at the Farm” or “Cheeseburgers in LBF Paradise” to your room reservation. Get ready to enjoy a wonderful meal right here in our home.
Dining at the Farm
Steve is the perfect host to combine sophistication with rustic cuisine. His home-cooked style will keep you coming back time and time again. Each evening, Steve will select a delicious dinner to prepare for our “Dinner at the Farm” promotion. Guest favorites include tender filet mignon with garden vegetables, pesto encrusted salmon, chicken marsala, wild mushroom risotto, fresh surf and turf, seafood alfredo, pork tenderloin, and much more. A vegetarian dish will be offered upon request on any given evening. We offer different appetizers including delicious bruschetta made with Steve’s homemade basil pesto.
Grown right here in the seasonal Lucky Bar Farm garden, we have herbs and vegetables that are used year-round in our freshly prepared dishes. If you are into southern classics, Steve can prepare chicken & dumplings, shrimp po boys, fried chicken livers, grits, and country ham biscuits.
We also offer a more casual selection featuring a half-pound gourmet cheeseburger served with fries and homemade slaw with all the fixins to personalize this fun dish. Just add “Cheeseburgers in LBF Paradise” to your room reservation when you book. Enjoy this dish outside on the pool deck, in the front porch rockers or in one of our two dining rooms.
To top off your meal, enjoy our very own homemade ice cream. Nancy has a love of sweets and has been baking her entire life, recently adding fresh ice cream to the list. Whether it’s her delicious chocolate chip walnut cookies, lemon blueberry bread, or homemade vanilla pound cake with lime glaze, these baked goods are sure to make you smile!
