Meet the Innkeepers/About the Farm
It has been their dream to open a bed a breakfast since they created Lucky Bar Farm in 2010. Steve has worked in the hospitality industry for the past 40 years, perfecting his knowledge of food and wine, while Nancy has worked in the medical field and has a background in Human Resources. She is also a certified professional life coach that specializes in personal relationships and goal achievement. This husband and wife continuously make friends with everyone they meet. Steve’s culinary skills and endless knowledge of wine from around the world, combined with Nancy’s business expertise, makes them the perfect pair to host guests at their beautiful and welcoming country inn.
About the Farm: Lucky Bar Farm sits on a beautiful 10 acres in Moncure, NC, near Pittsboro. Surrounded by trees, walking trails, and the southern charm of Chatham County, the farm is home to Nancy and Steve Adams, as well as their four-legged family. Cash, their Tennessee Walker, and Shiloh, their Quarter horse, love meeting new people and are highly likely to check your pockets for treats. You won’t find three goats with more personality than Rodeo, Radar and Noah. Wyatt does his job as the barn cat, sleeping in the hay and sunning himself on the barn doors. The two miniature donkeys, Buster and Banjo, have warm dispositions and easily make anyone fall in love with them. Sundance, the Golden Retriever, serves as the welcoming committee and unofficial mascot of Lucky Bar Farm. We are excited to share our home with you and believe you will enjoy the beauty of nature and find the quiet stillness a welcome retreat.
