It has been their dream to open a bed a breakfast since they created Lucky Bar Farm in 2010. Steve has worked in the hospitality industry for the past 40+ years, perfecting his knowledge of food and wine, while Nancy has worked in the medical field and has a background in Human Resources. She is also a certified professional life coach that specializes in personal relationships and goal achievement. This husband and wife continuously make friends with everyone they meet. Steve’s culinary skills and endless knowledge of wine from around the world, combined with Nancy’s business expertise, makes them the perfect pair to host guests at their beautiful and welcoming country inn.

About the Farm: Lucky Bar Farm sits on a beautiful 10 acres in Moncure, NC, near Pittsboro. Surrounded by trees and the southern charm of Chatham County, the farm is home to Nancy and Steve Adams, as well as their four-legged family. Cash, their 21 year old retired Tennessee Walker, loves meeting new people and is highly likely to check your pockets for treats. Dakota, their 7 year old super sweet paint horse, arrived at the farm in April of 2023.  He has really fit in well with the herd and is so beautiful. You won’t find a goat with more personality than Rodeo. Wyatt does his job as the barn cat, sleeping in the hay and sunning himself on the barn doors. Annabelle, their beautiful Golden Retriever puppy turned one year in July 2023, and Georgia, her baby sister, was just born in March 2023.  They look forward to sharing their home with you and believe you will enjoy the beauty of nature and find the quiet stillness a welcome retreat.
